Typical properties and applications of HDPE Films

• HDPE Films in .0005" to .030" thickness (width restrictions may apply).
• Available in Translucent or Opaque Colors (Standard Colors: Red, White, Shades of Blue, Shades of Green, Shades of Yellow, Orange, Gray, Black, etc.)
• Striping applications (To produce color coded Vacuum Formed Storage Trays and Plastic Pallets).
• Available in Custom Colors (Please refer to PMS Codes or submit sample Color Chip).
• HDPE is also available with Anti-Static, Flame Retardant and Ultraviolet additives.
• High Moisture Barrier Properties (WVTR of 0.50 to 0.80 g/100 sq.in/mil/24 hours)
• High Temperature resistance (Melting temperature of approximately 260F)
• Non Abrasive, Non Scratching film. High Resistance to Acids.
• Good Release Property without Silicone Coating. Used as Release Liners and Interleaving Sheeting, Foam In Place, Box Liners.
• Upon Corona Treating, film is printable with Flexographic, Offset, Hot Stamping or Silk Screening processes.
• Polyethylene Films Used in Packaging applications, protecting products such as Powder, Cheese, Frozen Foods, Electronic Parts.
